This hand-painted plate is inspired by the white horse in the altarpiece Adoration of the Kings (c. 1475) at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Dijon. Painted by the Master of the Sarnen Lamentation, this horse stands out with its elegant posture, arched neck, and gentle gaze, embodying the grace and nobility of medieval sacred art. Its light, delicately shaded coat contrasts beautifully with the rich fabrics and figures surrounding it, emphasizing its presence within the royal procession.
The design is created and hand-painted in the atelier in Paris.
A little note : Since each plate is hand-painted, the lines and colors may slightly vary. Each plate is individually hand-painted after an order is placed, ensuring a unique creation.
