This hand-painted plate is inspired by Leaping Laelaps, a watercolor created in 1897 by Charles R. Knight, an American illustrator and pioneer in paleontological art. The work depicts two Laelaps (now identified as Dryptosaurus) locked in a fierce and dynamic battle.

Presented at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, this iconic scene combines scientific accuracy with dramatic intensity, marking an important milestone in the lifelike representation of dinosaurs.

Each design is created and hand-painted in an artisanal atelier in Paris.

A little note : Since each plate is hand-painted, the lines and colors may slightly vary. Each plate is individually hand-painted after an order is placed, ensuring a unique creation.

Dimensions: 20 cm
