This hand-painted plate is inspired by The Conversion of Saint Paul (1527-1528) by Parmigianino, where the horse plays a central role, embodying both the power and imbalance of the sacred moment. Its imposing silhouette, viewed from a low angle, dominates the composition, enhancing the dramatic intensity of the scene. Its unstable posture, with splayed legs and a turned head, conveys the striking impact of the divine light upon Saint Paul. Its elegant neck and finely sculpted muscles reflect Parmigianino’s Mannerist refinement. Through its suspended movement and attentive expression, the horse becomes a silent witness to the revelation, heightening the theatricality of this mystical moment.

Each design is created and hand-painted in an artisanal atelier in Paris.

A little note : Since each plate is hand-painted, the lines and colors may slightly vary. Each plate is individually hand-painted after an order is placed, ensuring a unique creation.
