This hand-painted plate is inspired by Equestrian Portrait of the Duke of Lerma (1603) by Peter Paul Rubens, where the horse takes center stage, embodying the power and majesty of its rider. Depicted in motion, it assumes a dynamic posture, almost leaping out of the frame. Its imposing musculature and elegant lines convey both strength and grace, while its raised head and active legs enhance the sense of power and control. Rubens, master of movement and light, emphasizes the play of shadows and reflections on the animal's coat, enhancing its realism and expressiveness.

Each design is created and hand-painted in an artisanal atelier in Paris.

A little note : Since each plate is hand-painted, the lines and colors may slightly vary. Each plate is individually hand-painted after an order is placed, ensuring a unique creation.
