This hand-painted plate is inspired by Saint George and the Dragon (1504-1506) by Raphael, kept at the Louvre Museum, where the horse embodies both power and elegance. Depicted in dynamic motion, it rears on its hind legs, its body stretched in a surge of strength and dramatic tension. Its well-defined musculature, arched neck, and powerful limbs convey a contained energy, ready to explode. Its expressive gaze and forward-pointed ears reflect its engagement in the action. Raphael’s mastery of anatomy and movement gives the horse an almost lifelike presence, essential to the intensity of the scene. 

Each design is created and hand-painted in an artisanal atelier in Paris. 

A little note : Since each plate is hand-painted, the lines and colors may slightly vary. Each plate is individually hand-painted after an order is placed, ensuring a unique creation.
